Everybody loves photos of their family and close friends, but how do the professionals take portraits? Portraiture is something that never fails to be popular and learning the techniques from experienced industry practitioners will give you the guidance and experience you need. Learn how to work with a model, and the best composition and lighting for the shots you require.

This course is aimed at the beginners, with little or no experience of portrait photography and intends to provide them a foundation of variety of portraiture techniques, which could be used in the studio or on location. The course content includes viewing various sorts of portraits, which will be open to discussion, light metering, use of studio lighting, backgrounds and the most effective use of flash photography. Previous studio experience is not required. A professional model is included on this course.

Course Fee: £250 a light lunch will be included in the fee

Equipment and Material
Participant must have a camera, and should be able to set aperture and shutter speeds. The camera should be capable of flash operation.
